((Amber and I did a quick little thing last night. Here's the transcript. David, I will be making a post about Xiu for you, soon.))
The battle was over. Sirus had returned to his burning city of Esthar. Methuselah had seen Xiu get hit with the demonic energy, but it was too dangerous for him to rescue her. He hoped that she was alright…
So Sirus was pissed at Methuselah, because the albino had supposedly broken the agreement of a one-on-one battle, when he didn’t. Ayla attacked Esthar on her own. He knew nothing about it. Sirus threatened Avalon, which Methuselah wasn’t too worried about as it was very well protected. Sirus also threatened Hellsgate, which was pointless, as the Realm was desolate and devoid of much life- and unlife- at all. But the Dark Lord also threatened Innocent… And Methuselah would not have that.
If Sirus claimed to know where Innocent was, Methuselah had to get to her, first. He didn’t know how Sirus knew where Innocent was, but the Lord LeMene knew. A bright light occurred and he shut his eyes to shield them. When he opened them, the spirit of the Great Lord LeMene was standing before him.
“Where ist Mine Queen?” he asked the Spirit. It always seemed strange to him that he never knew why his mind always referred to Innocent as his Queen.
The spirit of the Lord LeMene pointed down, to Methuselah’s feet. So she was underground? The albino was confused. He glanced around: There didn’t appear to be any entrance. He turned his attention back to the spirit.
“How doth I reach her?” he asked.
“Dig.” Came the Lord LeMene’s simple reply.
Methuselah blinked in surprise, both at the fact that it was the first time that the Lord LeMene had ever spoken to him, and at the rather obvious reply. The General fell to his knees and began clawing at the earth beneath him rather frantically.
*Lady De'Spair would ping more and the stronger the reply. Innocents would dig up wards as fast as she could reguardless of how hot the ground was. soon she felt something, fingers digging into the ground as she was digging out of the ground. soon the hands would clasps together and her head would be revealed through the hole that Methuselah was digging. Her hair woould no longer be red with all the dirt and mud that was in it. her jade green eyes would lock onto his as her black lips parted gentley as she spoke softly " Please, Help me m'love" *she was begining to get weak again due to all the energy focused on trying to make her way out*
Methuselah continued to dig. His fingers hurt, but he did not stop. He didn’t know if he was even digging in the right spot, or how far down he needed to go. The Lord LeMene stood at the edge and simply watched as if he were waiting for something, and that was reason enough not to give up.
Eventually, the ground beneath him shifted, and he felt something touch his fingers. He dug a bit more and found a hand. Methuselah clasped the hand and pulled. He struggled a bit, but eventually a face emerged from the dirt: Innocent.
Gritting his teeth, he doubled his effort to dig her out as she pleaded for help. She was growing weak. Methuselah silently and quickly dug some more, and managed to pull her out as the thin layer of dirt in between her tunnel and his hole crumbled apart. With Innocent held tightly against him with one arm, he used his vampiric abilities to jump, landing at the edge of the hole. The albino fell to his knees and held Innocent close to him, protectively, as blood red orbs glared toward the mountains where Sirus’ burning city was located.
After a beat, he pulled his arms from around her and placed one hand against her cheek, while his other hand ran through her filthy hair in an attempt to remove most of the caked dirt. He looked her over, making sure that she was not physically hurt.
“Art thou injured, mine Queen?” he asked.
Again with the title of Queen…
*Being in Methuselahs arms she took in the embrace as he held her tightly. when he leaped back on the edge and held her protectively she gave him a gentle smile as her jade orbs locked onto his. All the cuts and bruises where healed due to the lady that was given to her to feed on. Felling his hand against her cheek she felt as if they have never been apart. When he ran his fingers through her red hair trying to get the dirt out as he looked her over she still held that semi gentle smile before parting her lips to speak.*
" I am not hurt m'love...im just weak. It feels good to be in your arms again...."
*everything Pestella told her, showed her before she had turned her back on her Innocent remembered. Innocent felt a pull and tug at her body then seen the bright as a lady figure stood before Lord Lemene....She was beautiful....Thy Lady DeSpair. She reached up and touched his cheek before gentle kissing it and would wrap her arms around him. She would speak softly but Innocent nor Methusellah would hear "At last we are together m'lord"
Her words echoed through his being, strangely so. She remembered him, she remembered what they once were, but Methuselah could not. He caught glimpses of images, flashes in his mind. And each time he tried to hold on to those images, tried to remember, they dissipated like smoke. Though he, himself, could not remember, at times it seemed like his body did, however, as well as the darkest depths of his mind. Why else would he call her his Queen?
“Come.” He said to her. “We needs to get thyne to safety.” He said to her, casting another quick glance at the burning city in the mountains. “Let us get thyne self refreshed and fed.”
Methuselah snaked one arm around her back and the other arm at the back of her knees. He lift her into his arms and stood up. Blood red orbs looked into hers for a long moment before he turned around. He saw the spirit of the beautiful Lady DeSpair with her arms around the Lord LeMene. The Lord LeMene had his eyes shut and held his beloved close. The spirit opened his eyes and looked to Methuselah. The albino turned his attention back to Innocent as he opened the nearby portal to Union City. He would take her there where he and Kain’s army could protect her until he could take her to Avalon.
“Doth not fade through mine arms this time.” He pleaded to Innocent as he stepped through the portal.
*glancing in her eyes she gave a gentle smile as he lifted her up in his arms. she noticed he kept glancing towards the mountains with the burning city, she had no clue where that was, who was there. Speaking softly " I will not fade through your arms but Do not let me go Methuselah....please do not let me go m'love"
*as they stepped in the portal to Union city she glanced around, she wasnt sure where she was this ttime as memories didnt hit her but she trusted Methuselah as his embracing showed he would keep her safe. As they entered Union city the spirits would follow and not leave their host knowing they will be together when their host would be together*
